I was pushed out under a so-called medical withdrawal that I did not request.

I said that plainly at the time. I questioned it at the time. And I kept the emails.

After that, the story kept changing.

What started as one explanation turned into another….

Then, came return emails.

Teach for America Medical Clearance

Then “clearance” demands.

Teach for America Student Loan Escalation

Then, came the Teach for America repayment pressure…

My stipend magically became a so-called “student loan” and got pushed toward collections.

Then, that got pushed toward collections.

Then I filed a Consumer Finance (CFPB) complaint.

In December 2025, the account was closed after I filed a CFPB complaint. I thought that was the end of it.

It wasn’t…

This story is bigger than one bad email or one rude interaction.

It’s about what happens when an institution mishandles a person, hides behind policy language, and assumes the person on the receiving end will be too confused, too ashamed, or too tired to keep receipts.

Unfortunately for them, I kept records.

So, this is the beginning.

What Happened & Why I’m Speaking Now

I’m going to be laying out what happened, what they said, how their story changed over time, and why I believe Teach For America wrongfully pushed me out and then escalated things in ways that never should have happened.

If you’ve ever been buried under institutional language, contradictory emails, or a system counting on your silence, then you already know why this matters.

These documents are part of the paper trail.
